The Cookie Banner That Stops The Trackers Before It Asks The Question

Most banners ask permission after the pixel has already fired. This one holds every tracker back before the page reaches your visitor, asks a fair question in their own language, and keeps the proof. On your WordPress site and on your sales pages, for $27 a year.

Three sites on one licence. 30-day money-back guarantee. Updates inside WordPress.

✅Real Blocking, Not A Polite Request. Matching scripts are held on the server, so your visitor's browser never fetches them until they say yes.
✅Safe Behind Any Page Cache. Every visitor gets the same page. The decision happens in their browser, so caching cannot break it.
✅Google Consent Mode v2, Wired Properly. Everything starts denied before any Google tag loads, including the two newer advertising signals.
✅Ten Languages Built In. The banner speaks your visitor's language, and your own wording always wins in your own.
✅Proof You Can Export. Every answer is logged with the wording that was on screen. No raw IP addresses, ever.

Somebody Told Me What They Pay For Their Cookie Banner. It Was $299 A Year.

So I looked at what that money buys, and at what most banners on most sites are actually doing. Three things stood out.

⏱️

The Banner Asks After The Pixel Already Fired

On most sites the advertising pixel and the analytics script load with the page. The banner appears a moment later and asks a question whose answer no longer changes anything.

That is not consent. That is a receipt for something that already happened.

🙈

Accept Is A Bright Button. Reject Is A Grey Whisper.

In January 2022 the French regulator fined Google 150 million euros and Facebook 60 million for one thing: making it harder to refuse cookies than to accept them.

The rule is simple. Saying no has to be as easy as saying yes.

🗃️

Nobody Can Prove Anything Afterwards

When somebody asks you to show that a visitor agreed, a banner on its own is not an answer. You need the record: when, what they chose, and the exact wording they were shown.

Most sites have the banner and no record at all.

What the rules ask for is not complicated. It is just rarely done.

Hold the optional cookies until somebody says yes. Make refusing as easy as agreeing. Say plainly what each group is for. Let people change their mind whenever they like. Keep a record. And since March 2024, if you advertise with Google in Europe, send its tags the Consent Mode v2 signals.

So that is what this plugin does, in that order, on your own WordPress site, with no monthly page-view meter and nothing about your visitors sent anywhere else.

Press A Button. Watch What Runs.

A working model of your site. The page carries an analytics script, an advertising pixel, a video and a payment script. Answer the banner and watch three things change: what loads, what Google is told, and what goes in your log.

Pages Outside WordPress

Your Sales Pages Get The Same Banner. One Line. One Log.

Sales pages, order pages and webinar sign-ups built in a page builder can show this exact banner. Every choice made on them is recorded in the consent log on your WordPress site, next to the address of the page. Answer any banner below and watch the log.

The Line You Paste

One Line From Your Banner Tab, Pasted Into The Page

Every page builder has a place for code in the page head. The line goes there, above your Google tag if the page has one.

  • It is your banner: the same wording, colours, languages and cookie list. Change it in WordPress and every page follows within five minutes.
  • Pages on your own domain share one answer with your WordPress site, so nobody is asked twice.
  • Google Consent Mode v2 comes with it.
  • A script of your own can wait for a yes. Give it type="text/plain" and data-rxc-cat="marketing".
<!-- in the head of your sales page --> <script src="https://yoursite.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=rxc_embed"> </script>

Same Law. Two Very Different Banners.

One of these is decoration with a monthly bill. The other one changes what your site actually does.

The Banner Most Sites Are Running

  • Trackers load with the page, then the banner asks
  • Accept is a bright button, reject is hidden in a second screen
  • One language, whoever is reading it
  • Breaks the day you switch on a page cache
  • No record of who agreed to what
  • Often priced by monthly page views, so a good month costs you more
  • Often sends each visitor's IP address to a lookup service to guess their country
A question asked too late.

ResultsAiX Consent

  • Trackers are held on the server until the visitor says yes
  • Accept and reject are the same size, weight and colour, always
  • Ten languages built in, picked by the visitor's own browser
  • Built for page caches from the first line of code
  • A consent log with the wording version, exportable as CSV
  • One flat price. No page-view meter, no traffic tiers
  • Region detection from your own server's headers. No lookups, ever
$27 a year. Three sites.

How It Holds A Tracker Back, In Plain Sight

No magic and nothing hidden. This is what the plugin does to your page, and you can check it yourself with View Source.

Step 1 · On Your Server

The Script Is Parked Before The Page Is Sent

Your page is rewritten on the way out. A tracking script comes out with its type changed and its real address moved aside, so the browser will not fetch it and will not run it.

The rewritten page is identical for every visitor. That is why it works behind any page cache: there is nothing about one person baked into the page everybody shares.

  • Payments, security checks and spam protection are never blocked
  • Signed in as the owner, add ?rxc-no-block=1 to any address to see the page without it
<!-- what your visitor's browser receives --> <script type="text/plain" data-rxc-src="https://connect.facebook.net/.../fbevents.js" data-rxc-cat="marketing"></script> <!-- after they accept Marketing --> <script src="https://connect.facebook.net/.../fbevents.js"></script>
Step 2 · In Their Browser

A Fair Question, With Reject As Easy As Accept

The banner shows as a box, a bar or front and centre, in your colours, with six one-press looks to start from. Accept and reject share one style. There is no setting that makes one of them shout and the other whisper, because that is the design regulators fine.

Choose cookies opens the five standard groups, each with a plain description and the list of cookies inside it.

  • A live preview that uses the real banner, not a drawing of it
  • A small floating button so people can change their mind later
  • Each visitor sees their own consent ID and the date they answered

Step 3 · The Moment They Answer

Only What They Agreed To Comes Back

Say yes to Analytics and only the analytics scripts are rebuilt and run, in their original order so nothing breaks. Google's tags get the Consent Mode v2 update in the same instant. A blocked video turns back into the video.

Say no, and the page simply carries on working without them.

  • Google Consent Mode v2, including ad_user_data and ad_personalization
  • Tag Manager stays running and is governed by Consent Mode, so the tags you do have consent for still fire
  • Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track are honoured as a refusal, with no banner shown

A Consent Your Visitor Could Not Read Is A Weak Consent

Most European sites get visitors from three or four countries. So the banner carries its own translations, and the visitor's browser picks one. Click a language to see the banner in it.

Your own words always win in your own language. A visitor reading your site's language sees what you typed. Everybody else sees the banner, the buttons, the five groups and their descriptions in their language.

The translations ship inside the plugin. No translation service is ever called, and the page stays identical for everybody, so this is as cache-safe as everything else. Untick any language you would rather not offer.

The Day A New Tracker Appears, You Hear About It

A cookie policy is true on the day it is written and slowly stops being true. A plugin update adds a font loader. Somebody pastes a chat widget into the footer. Nobody rescans.

So your site is scanned again every week and compared with the week before. When something new turns up you get one email naming the service and the page it was seen on.

  • If a blocking rule covers it, it is already being held
  • Nothing is added to your declaration without you
  • The first scan only sets the baseline, so you are never emailed about tools you have had for years

If a blocking rule covers it, it is already being held until a visitor agrees. What it is not in yet is your cookie declaration.

When Somebody Asks You To Prove It, You Can

There are no raw IP addresses in it. Each one is stored as a one-way fingerprint, so you can still show that two records came from the same visitor, but a copy of the table is not a list of people. There is no setting to change that.

Add a tracker later? Press Ask everyone again. The wording version goes up, every stored answer becomes out of date, and old records keep the version they were given under. Records older than your retention setting are deleted on their own.

Everything In The Box

One plugin. No add-ons to unlock, no traffic tiers, no per-site upsell for the features on this page.

🚫

Prior Blocking

Scripts and embeds held on the server, restored in order once the visitor agrees. Your own patterns too: part of a URL, a bar, and the group it belongs to.

🗺️

Google Consent Mode v2

Denied by default at the very top of the page, updated the instant somebody answers, with redaction and URL passthrough as switches.

🔗

Your Sales Pages Too

One line from the Banner tab puts the same banner on pages built outside WordPress. Their answers go into the same log, with the page address.

🌍

Ten Languages

Banner, buttons, the five groups and their descriptions. Picked by the browser, never by a server lookup.

🔍

Site Scanner

Reads your own pages, names 36 services, reads your server's own cookies, and offers you what each one sets.

🚨

Tracker Watch

A weekly rescan, compared with everything it has ever seen on your site. One email the first time something new appears, naming the service and the page.

📜

Consent Log And CSV Export

Wording version, groups accepted, region, page and a hashed address. Retention you set, pruned automatically.

🌎

Region Targeting, No Lookups

Ask everyone, Europe only, or Europe plus the US states with an opt-out law. The country comes from your own server's headers.

📄

Policy Pages That Build Themselves

Cookie policy, Do Not Sell or Share, and a data request page. The cookie table is a shortcode, so it is always today's list.

📩

Data Requests, The WordPress Way

A form for "send me my data" and "delete my data" that creates a real WordPress privacy request, with the confirmation email built in.

⚡

Set Me Up

Scan, declare, build the policy page and switch the banner on, all in one press. Change any of it afterwards.

🎬

Video And Map Placeholders

A blocked video or map becomes a tidy box with one button: accept that group and show it. Nothing else changes for the visitor.

🤝

Plays Well With Others

Hands every answer to the WP Consent API when it is installed, and gives your own code one line to ask: rxc_has_consent('analytics').

Install It, Open Your Site In A Private Window, And Look At Your Cookies. If It Is Not Doing What This Page Says, You Get Your Money Back.

Press Set Me Up and check View Source for the parked scripts. If it is not holding your trackers, or it is not worth $27 to you for any reason, write in within 30 days and we will refund you. No form to fill in and no questions designed to talk you out of it.

What Happens In The First Ten Minutes

No account to make and nothing to sign up for.

  1. Upload it and paste your key. The licence panel takes the key from your receipt. Bundle owners use their bundle key.
  2. Press Set Me Up. It scans your pages, fills in your cookie declaration, builds your cookie policy page and switches the banner on.
  3. Open your site in a private window. Look at your cookies before you answer, then again after. That is the moment it makes sense.
  4. Make the wording yours and pick a look. Say what your cookies are for in your own words. The preview is the real banner.
  5. Got sales pages outside WordPress? Copy the line from the Banner tab into each one. Their answers start arriving in the same log.

From then on it runs on every page, for every visitor, and checks your site again every week.

What It Does Not Do, So You Know Before You Buy

Everybody else in this market writes this section in a font too small to read. Here is ours in plain sight.

  • It does not make your site "compliant", and it never says so. No plugin can promise that about a business it has never met. It holds trackers, asks a fair question and keeps the record. The rest is how you run your site.
  • It cannot catch a script that another script writes into the page after it loads. If you use a tag manager, govern those tags with Consent Mode, which this sets up for you.
  • On pages outside WordPress it cannot rewrite the page. The banner, the log and Consent Mode work there; any other script of yours waits for a yes once you add one attribute to it.
  • The scanner reads your pages. It does not run them in a browser. A cookie that only appears after a script executes is found through the built-in dictionary of what each service sets, not by watching it happen.
  • Region targeting needs a country header from your own infrastructure, such as a CDN. Without one, the honest setting is to ask everyone, and the plugin tells you which situation you are in.
  • The policy pages are a starting point, not legal advice. They are written from what the plugin can see. Read them and change what does not fit.
  • The cookie list inside the panel stays in your site's language. Those sentences are yours, and the plugin will not pretend to translate them.

Questions People Ask First

Does It Work With My Caching Plugin?

Yes, and by design rather than by luck. The page is rewritten the same way for every visitor, so a cached copy is correct for all of them. Whether the banner shows, and which scripts come back, is decided in each visitor's own browser from their own cookie. Clear your cache once after Set Me Up and that is it.

Can I Put It On Sales Pages That Are Not WordPress?

Yes. The Banner tab gives you one line to paste into the head of any page, wherever it is built. The page shows your banner, and every choice made there is recorded in your WordPress site's consent log with the page's address. Pages on the same domain as your WordPress site share one answer with it, so a visitor is asked once. A page on a different domain asks once on its own, because browsers keep each domain's cookies apart.

Will It Break My Checkout Or My Forms?

No. Payment scripts, security checks and spam protection are treated as strictly necessary and are never blocked by default. If anything on your site ever misbehaves, signed in as the owner, adding ?rxc-no-block=1 to the address shows you that page without blocking, so you can tell in ten seconds whether a rule is the cause.

Is There A Page-View Limit Or A Traffic Tier?

No. It runs on your own WordPress site, so there is nothing for us to meter. The price is $27 a year for three sites whether you get a hundred visitors a month or a million.

Do I Need Google Consent Mode?

If you use Google Ads or Google Analytics with visitors in Europe, yes. Since March 2024 Google has required Consent Mode v2 signals for ad personalisation and remarketing there. The plugin sets everything to denied before any Google tag loads, and updates it the moment a visitor answers. If you do not use Google's tags, you can switch it off.

How Does It Know Where My Visitor Is?

From a header your own infrastructure already adds, such as the country header from a CDN, or your shop's own geolocation. It will not send a visitor's IP address to a lookup service, because doing that before they have consented to anything is what the plugin exists to prevent. If no header reaches WordPress, Diagnostics tells you, and the sensible setting is to ask everyone.

What Do You Do With My Visitors' Data?

Nothing, because we never receive any. The consent log lives in your own WordPress database. The translations ship inside the plugin. There is no account and no dashboard on our servers. Even on your sales pages, the banner loads from your own WordPress site.

Can I Change The Wording And The Colours?

All of it: heading, message, every button, the names and descriptions of the groups, six starting looks and every colour individually, corner rounding, text size, box or bar or centred, and which corner it sits in. The one thing you cannot do is make reject smaller than accept.

Does It Work With The Rest Of The ResultsAiX Family?

Yes. The banner appears on pages built by the family's page tools as well as normal WordPress pages, it steps above countdown bars and clear of other corner buttons, and it follows the ResultsAiX Theme. If the theme's own simple cookie notice is switched on, it steps aside by itself while Consent is on, and Set Me Up carries its wording across. One banner, never two, with nothing to set.

Is It In The Bundle?

Yes. Every ResultsAiX Bundle owner gets Consent at no extra cost, and the bundle key activates it.

Is This Legal Advice?

No. It is software that does the things the rules commonly ask for, explained in plain words. What your business owes its visitors depends on where you trade and what you collect. For anything high-stakes, take proper advice.
