The free plugin asks for your name and email the first time you open it, and the licence server issues your free key and activates the site on the spot: no card, no waiting for an email. The key is tied to your email, covers three of your own sites, never expires, and is how updates reach the site. Already have the key from another site? Paste it in the box underneath, or on Settings; the reading tools work for visitors whether or not a key is entered. Accessibility PRO is ONE install with everything in it: the reading tools for visitors and the checker, Fix with AI, the site scan and the statement for the owner. It has its own key, entered on its Settings tab. Install it on a site that already has the free plugin and the free plugin is deactivated automatically; your settings carry over. You can then delete the free plugin. When the PRO licence is active the Checker tab and the AI tab are there and the Accessibility check box appears on every edit screen. Updates arrive in the normal WordPress Plugins screen, like any other plugin. Troubleshooting. No Aa pill on the site: check the Reading tools switches, Every page, and any caching plugin serving an old page. Listen reads the menu instead of the article, or Focus dims nothing: put your theme's article selector in the Advanced field. Two Aa pills: another accessibility plugin is running, deactivate it. Fix with AI is waiting for a key: add one on the PRO tab, or the theme's AI Assistant tab when the theme is active. Anything else: Diagnostics, Copy Report for Support, and paste it into your ticket.
