A ZIP upload is the easy way to publish a page or funnel that comes with its own folders of images, CSS, JavaScript and fonts. You upload the .zip as it is and the plugin serves every file from your page's own address.

When to use a ZIP:

  • You exported a page or funnel from a page builder or funnel builder.
  • You have a PLR page or site folder with css, js and images folders.
  • Your page links to its own files with relative paths such as images/photo.jpg and you do not want to change them.

For a single self-contained file, upload the .html file as usual.

Upload a ZIP:

  1. Zip the whole export on your computer, keeping its folders.
  2. In WordPress, go to HTML Pages, Upload HTML Page and add a title.
  3. Drop the .zip onto the Upload Your Page box, or click the box to browse for it.
  4. Click Publish. A message at the top tells you how many files were unpacked and which is the main page.
  5. Click Preview Page → to check it.

Which page opens:

  • index.html, at the top of the ZIP or inside a single folder, is the main page. It opens at your page address, for example yoursite.com/h/your-page/
  • No index.html? The only .html file is used, or the first one alphabetically, and the message after the upload tells you which.
  • Every other file opens under the same address, for example yoursite.com/h/your-page/css/style.css. Extra pages such as thank-you.html are live too, and the links between your files keep working.

What is kept and what is skipped:

Pages, images, styles, scripts, fonts, audio, video, PDF and text files are kept. Anything else, such as PHP files, is skipped for safety and listed in the message after the upload. A ZIP that contains a link to another location or an unsafe file path is refused as a whole.

Limits:

By default a ZIP can hold up to 2,000 files and 100 MB once unpacked, as long as your server accepts an upload that size. Diagnostics shows your server's Max upload size and whether ZIP uploads are Ready.

Code injection, updating and duplicating:

  • Site-wide code from Settings and the page's own code go into every .html page in the ZIP.
  • To update, open the page and drop a new .zip or .html file onto the upload box. Your live page stays online until the new upload is checked.
  • Duplicate copies every file of the page, and its code, into a new draft.

If something goes wrong:

The message after the upload says what to fix, and your current page is kept. See Troubleshooting for the common cases.
