Does this slow down my site?
No. Privacy mode only runs in wp-admin, and only when the master switch is ON. Your public site is 100% unaffected.
Will my customers see anything different?
No. Masking only applies to the WordPress admin while privacy mode is ON. Your public-facing site, emails, checkout, and everything else run exactly as normal.
Can I leave it on all the time?
You can, but we don't recommend it — you'd lose visibility of real customer data in your own admin. The intended workflow is flip on → record → flip off.
Does it work with WooCommerce?
Yes. Email, name, IP, phone, address, and price filters all apply to WooCommerce orders and customer screens.
What about the plugin's own settings pages?
The plugin automatically excludes its own pages from masking so you can always see the real settings and filter values.
