Updates:

With the site activated, new versions arrive under Dashboard, Updates and Appearance, Themes like any other theme. Settings, Updates shows the version Installed here, the version Published, when it last checked, and What the checker says in one plain sentence. Check for updates now reads the update file that second, so a version published a minute ago shows up straight away, and Open the Updates page takes you to install it. The theme only ever accepts its own edition's update, so an update can never put a different edition over this one.

Your licence:

The licence panel sits at the top of the Settings tab. It shows your License Key, its Status and your Activated Domains.

  • Refresh License Info checks the key with the licence server again.
  • Moving to a new site: the free key covers one site. Press Deactivate This Site on the old site, or press Remove next to the old site in the Activated Domains list, then activate on the new one.
  • Deactivate This Site releases this site's slot. The theme's screens then wait for a key again, while the website itself keeps working.

A licence never affects what your visitors see.

Troubleshooting:

  • The ResultsAiX Theme menu only shows the activation screen: the site is not activated yet. Press Get my free key and activate. See Getting The Free Theme And Your Free Key.
  • A training or post shows Not Found: go to Settings, Permalinks and press Save Changes once.
  • The sidebar does not show: it needs both the Customizer switch and at least one widget in Sidebar (Optional).
  • The sticky bar does not show: check it is on for that type (Posts, Pages or Trainings), that the post is not set to Hide on this one, and that the page does not use the Landing (No Chrome) template. It appears only after the reader scrolls.
  • The sliding banner is missing: it shows on the first page of the blog and on category and tag pages only, and a category can be kept out on its edit screen.
  • No Search button in the header: tick A Search button in the header in Appearance, Customize, ResultsAiX Theme.
  • The ResultsAiX panel is not under the editor: the code editor and distraction free mode hide that part of the screen, and the panel can be switched off under Options, Preferences, Panels. The small ResultsAiX settings box in the side column tells you which one applies. Or choose Separate boxes in the side column under Settings, The edit screen.
  • Share cards are not drawn: your server needs a picture library (GD). The Sharing tab tells you if it is missing, and the featured picture is used instead. Facebook and LinkedIn keep their own copy of a card for a while.
  • The YouTube feed is empty: check the channel on Your Site, YouTube channel, then tick Read the feed again now and save.
  • A tracking ID was not saved: the message names it. Google Analytics looks like G-ABC123XYZ, Tag Manager like GTM-ABC123, and the Meta pixel is a number.
  • The cookie notice does not show: tick Show the cookie notice on the website and save. With Only visitors likely to be in a region with a consent law chosen, visitors elsewhere do not see it.
  • An update is not showing: open Settings, Updates and press Check for updates now.
  • A screen says Full theme: that feature is part of the full ResultsAiX Theme. See What The Full ResultsAiX Theme Adds.
