Widget areas:
The theme has two widget areas under Appearance, Widgets:
- Footer Extra: at the top of the footer, above the link columns, in every layout.
- Sidebar (Optional): beside posts and pages once you switch the sidebar on. See Layouts And The App-Style Member Portal.
The Widgets screen is dressed in the theme's font and colours, so what you build looks like the finished footer.
Ready-made footer blocks:
Press + on the Widgets screen and open the Patterns tab. The theme's footer blocks are grouped together, one click each: About this site, Latest articles, Latest videos (your YouTube channel), Browse by topic, Search the site and Get help. Edit the words after you insert one. About this site starts from your site's tagline, when you have one.
The Shortcode Studio:
The Shortcodes tab shows each of the theme's shortcodes with plain English on what it is for, boxes to fill in, a live preview drawn in your theme's style, and a copy button. Fill in, look, copy, paste into your page. It includes:
- Button, Checkout Button, Call To Action Box, Notice and FAQ Accordion.
- Video (a YouTube or Vimeo address that resizes properly on phones).
- Sliding Banner, YouTube Channel Feed, Share Buttons and Share This Quote.
- Training Grid, Latest Posts, Progress Bar and Member First Name.
- Show To Signed-In Visitors, Show To Signed-Out Visitors and Support Link.
Every one of these is also in the block inserter. On any page press +, type what you want, such as faq, button, checkout or video, and insert it with example wording already filled in.
The Checkout Button:
[raix_checkout] takes any checkout link, such as a payment link or a cart page, and draws a buy button with a badge, the price, a struck-through was price, a note under the button, trust chips and a quieter second link. The theme never takes money itself. The link you already have does the selling and delivery.
Counting what you have:
- [raix_count] shows how many pages or posts you have, for example [raix_count type="post" cat="updates"], so a number on a page is never out of date.
- [raix_new days="7" count="3"] lists what is new on the site lately.
The plugin family:
The Plugin Family tab shows every ResultsAiX plugin. Anything running on this site is green and marked Installed. The theme works on its own, and each plugin fits straight into it when you activate it:
- Family Actions: every post and page has a Family Actions tab where you switch an installed family plugin on for that one page.
- The Family Plugin Block: anything an installed family plugin can show, as one block with a live preview. Type the plugin's name in the inserter. It only lists what is actually installed.
