Four blog layouts:
List, card grid, magazine (with a featured post), and a classic narrow centred list. The site owner sets the default layout in the Customizer.
Visitor view switcher:
Icons on the blog home, archives and search results let a visitor switch which view they see. Their choice is remembered in their own browser and applied before the page paints, so there is no flash of the wrong layout. This switcher can be turned on or off from Settings.
Open article layout:
A published post matches the blog page style: the title sits on the header's left edge, the featured picture runs full width, the reading measure is comfortable, and reading time, an author box and visible breadcrumbs are shown.
Keep reading:
Three related posts appear at the end of every post, shown in whichever view the visitor has chosen. Search results use the same card style.
Blog heading:
The heading above the post list is a setting, blank by default, so the blog home shows only your posts unless you deliberately add a title there.
Links in writing:
Links inside posts and pages carry colour and weight rather than an underline, and a heading that is itself a link keeps the heading's own colour.
Dates on or off:
On the Blog tab, Show dates is on by default. Switch it off and no date shows on your posts, the blog, category pages, Keep reading, search results or the sliding banner. Search engines still read the date behind the scenes, so nothing is lost for search.
The category on each card:
On the Blog tab, Show the category on post cards is off by default. Switch it on and each card on the blog and under Keep reading shows its category, linked to that category's page. The post page itself already shows it.
The author box:
The author box under every post shows the whole Biographical Info from the author's WordPress profile, with any links in it working. Under Users, Profile, Your links in the author box, each author can add their Website, Amazon author page, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok, and those show in the box too.
