⚙️ Settings: Menu Consolidation And Per Plugin Overrides

The Settings tab is short by design. It exists mainly for one feature: tidying up a WordPress sidebar that has grown a row for every plugin you own.

Consolidate plugin menus under ResultsAiX:

Off by default. When you switch it on, each ResultsAIx aware plugin's own top level sidebar menu is removed and re added as a single row underneath the ResultsAiX menu. The plugin itself is untouched. Clicking that row loads exactly the same screen it always did, because WordPress routes admin pages by their page parameter rather than by where the menu row sits.

What consolidation deliberately does not do:

It does not flatten each plugin's internal pages into the sidebar. A tracker with a dozen sub pages and a launch manager with a dozen more would produce a fifty row sidebar and defeat the whole point. Those inner pages stay where they were and you navigate them with each plugin's own in page tabs. The Hub also keeps the sidebar highlight correct: when you are deep inside a consolidated plugin, the ResultsAiX menu and the right row inside it still light up.

Add ons are skipped by consolidation, because they live as tabs inside their parent plugin and have no top level menu of their own.

Per plugin overrides:

Underneath the toggle is a table of every eligible plugin with a Keep at top level checkbox. Tick one and that plugin keeps its own top level menu even while global consolidation is on. It is meant for the one or two plugins you open twenty times a day. The table covers both plugins that registered with the Hub and plugins detected as active through the catalogue.

Hide the RWK AI Bots row:

A second toggle removes the RWK AI Bots row from the ResultsAiX submenu in the sidebar. The screen stays fully available from the tab strip at the top of any Hub page and by direct URL.

The three level off switch:

  1. Untick Consolidate plugin menus. Every plugin returns to its own top level menu immediately, and the Hub stays installed.
  2. Tick specific per plugin overrides to exempt just those plugins while leaving the rest consolidated.
  3. Deactivate the Hub from the Plugins screen. Every menu reverts, nothing is deleted, and you can reactivate whenever you like.

Hub Information:

The last card on the page prints the Hub version, how many products it currently counts, the catalogue source URL, the update server URL and the support link. It is the fastest way to confirm the Hub is pointed where you expect.
