The Hub adds options and never takes anything away, which means switching it off has to be boring. It is.
Three ways to back out, in increasing order:
- Untick Consolidate plugin menus in Settings. Every plugin gets its own top level sidebar menu back immediately and the Hub stays installed.
- Tick Keep at top level for specific plugins, leaving consolidation on for the rest.
- Deactivate ResultsAiX Hub from your Plugins screen. Every menu goes back to standard WordPress behaviour.
What deactivating does not do:
It does not touch any other plugin. Every ResultsAiX plugin works on its own, keeps its own licence, its own settings and its own data, and never depended on the Hub to run. Nothing you set up inside another plugin changes, and any colour scheme you set for your plugins stays as it is.
Linked sites while the Hub is off:
If this site is shared with a main Hub, the main Hub cannot read it while the Hub here is switched off, and says so on its Overview. If this site sends its numbers to a main Hub, sending stops until you switch the Hub back on.
Is anything deleted?
No. The Hub has no uninstall routine, so deactivating leaves everything in place: the two Hub tables and their contents, your menu and appearance choices, your linked sites, your saved Standard or PRO preference, and the saved catalogue. Reactivate later and you land back exactly where you were.
What the Hub stores:
- Two database tables, one for the shared weekly statistics and one for the record of licence, update and switch on actions
- A handful of site options: menu consolidation, the RWK AI Bots sidebar switch, your per plugin overrides, the colour scheme settings, your linked sites and their secrets, and internal version markers
- One preference per user for the Standard or PRO bot tier
- Short lived saved copies of the product catalogue, the Overview's numbers, linked sites' answers and the Hub's own update check
- Scheduled background jobs: the daily refresh, the hourly Overview count, and, only when this site sends to a main Hub, a send every ten minutes. Nothing runs while the Hub is off
Your bot grid layout, meaning favourites, hidden cards and the chosen filter, and the date range you last picked on the Overview, are not in that list. They live in your browser, so clearing your browser data resets them and nothing on the server changes.
Removing the plugin files:
If you delete the Hub from the Plugins screen, WordPress removes its files. The tables and options above stay in the database until removed by hand, which is the safe default: reinstalling later brings your settings back rather than starting from scratch.
