The Diagnostics tab tells you at a glance whether everything is running, and gives you a report to send to support.

Health report

Each row carries a badge: OK, CHECK or PROBLEM. The rows include Plugin version, WordPress, PHP, Licence, Banner, Script blocking (with the number of services held), Consent Mode v2, Records held, Retention sweep, Country header, This request would (see the banner or not), Page cache (it recognises WP Rocket, W3 Total Cache, LiteSpeed Cache, WP Super Cache, Autoptimize, SiteGround Optimizer and WP Fastest Cache), Last scan, Cookies declared, Wording version, Theme cookie notice and WP Consent API.

Repair

If the storage for the consent log is missing something, a warning appears with a Rebuild the table button. Otherwise a smaller Rebuild the table anyway button is there. It is safe: it adds what is missing and never drops a record. An empty log and a damaged one look the same from the log screen, which is why this check exists.

Support report

Press Copy the report and paste it into a support ticket. It carries no licence key, no customer data and no cookie values.

The banner does not appear

  • Is it switched on? The Dashboard says so in its first line.
  • Are you testing in a window that already has an answer stored? Use a private window, or the See it live button on the Dashboard.
  • Is the region setting excluding you? Check the This request would row.
  • Is a caching plugin serving an older page? Clear its cache.

Something on the site stopped working

While signed in as an administrator, add ?rxc-no-block=1 to the page address. If it behaves with that on, a blocking rule is the cause. Find the service on the Blocking tab and set it to Never block, or move it to a group your visitors accept.

A tracker still runs before consent

  • Inside your tag manager? It is governed there, through Consent Mode.
  • Written into the page by another script after load? Blocking cannot see that. Move it into your tag manager.
  • On a page cached before blocking was on? Clear the cache.

The log is empty

Either nobody has answered, Keep a record of every answer is off in Settings, or the log storage needs the Rebuild button. Diagnostics tells the three apart.

Logged in and nothing is blocked

Check whether Do not block anything for logged-in editors and administrators is ticked in Settings.

The error log

Under the health report, the Diagnostics tab keeps the plugin's own error log for 7 days. It records anything the plugin had trouble with, such as a scan that could not read your pages, an email that could not be sent or a choice that could not be saved; any long job such as Set Me Up, a site scan, Tracker Watch or a log export that started and never finished, with the last step it reached; any PHP crash on the site, with the file and line; and any request that took longer than five seconds.

  • Problems shows only what needs a look. Never finished shows the jobs that were cut off. Everything shows the lot.
  • Download the log gives you a text file to attach to a support ticket.
  • Clear the log asks you to confirm on the page, then starts it fresh.
  • The health report has an Error log, 24 hours row with the counts.

The log is kept in files in your uploads folder that the web cannot read, and nothing about your visitors is written to it. Deleting the plugin removes it.
