Installing
Download the plugin zip from your account portal. In WordPress go to Plugins, Add New, Upload Plugin, choose the zip and activate it. A new menu item called AiX Consent appears in your WordPress admin menu.
Activating your key
Until a key is active, the AiX Consent menu opens a screen headed Activate your licence. Paste your key into the field labelled Your key (it looks like AIXCONSENT-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) and press Activate. It takes a few seconds. You see the message Activated. Enjoy! and the full set of tabs loads. An active key is also what lets this site receive updates.
Your key is emailed to you automatically when you purchase, and every key you own is listed in your account portal. If you own the Complete Bundle, your bundle key works here.

The licence panel
Once activated, the licence lives at the top of the Settings tab. It shows:
- License Key, masked so it can be recognised but not reused.
- Status: Active or Not active.
- Licensed To and Renews, when the licence server supplies them.
- Activated Domains, with a count such as 2/3 sites used, and this site marked (this site).
Freeing a slot
Next to every other site in the list is a ✕ Remove button. It frees that site's slot so you can activate somewhere else, which is useful for staging copies or sites you have handed over. It frees the slot only. It does not switch the plugin off on that site.
The buttons underneath
- Refresh License Info checks the key again and updates the list of sites.
- Deactivate This Site releases this site's slot, so the key can be used on another site. The admin screens then lock until a key is activated here again, while your banner, blocking and consent log keep running for visitors.
- All my keys & downloads opens your account portal.
- Change license key, with its Replace key button, swaps the key and leaves all your settings alone.
Deactivating the plugin on the WordPress Plugins screen also releases this site's slot, so moving a licence to a new domain needs no extra step.
Helpful messages
If a key has no room you are told: This key has no sites left on it. Free a slot on another site first. If the licence server cannot be reached, you are told your licence is unaffected and to try again shortly.
