Is this legal advice?
No. ResultsAiX Consent is software, not legal advice. It asks, it blocks and it records. You remain responsible for your own site's legal position, so take proper advice where the stakes are high.
Does it work with a caching plugin?
Yes, by design. The page is identical for every visitor, so a cached copy is correct for all of them. The banner and the scripts are decided in the visitor's browser. Clear your cache once after switching the banner on.
What happens if my licence lapses?
The admin screens lock. Your banner and your blocking keep running exactly as you left them.
Will it break my checkout?
Stripe, PayPal, Google reCAPTCHA and Cloudflare are treated as strictly necessary and are never blocked by default.
Does it delete my consent records when I uninstall it?
No. The log is kept. Emptying it is a deliberate act with a typed confirmation, on the Consent log tab.
Does the scanner find every cookie?
It reads your pages' HTML and your server's cookies, then offers what each service it found is known to set. It does not run pages in a browser, so add anything missing by hand.
Does it store IP addresses?
Never the raw address. It stores a one-way fingerprint, or nothing at all if you choose that in Settings.
Is visitor data sent to an outside service?
No IP lookup service and no translation service is ever called. Answers are recorded on your own site.
Should I block Google Tag Manager?
The recommended setting leaves it running and governs its tags through Consent Mode, because blocking the container blocks every tag in it.
Why does the banner not show for me?
You have probably already answered. Use a private window, or the See it live button on the Dashboard.
How do visitors change their mind?
Through the small floating reopen button, or a link made with [rxc_preferences].
I added a new tracker. What now?
Add its cookies on the Cookies tab, check its row on the Blocking tab, then press Ask everyone again on the Settings tab.
Can I use it with the ResultsAiX Theme's cookie notice?
Yes, with nothing to set. While this banner is on, the theme's notice steps aside by itself, so visitors are only asked once.
Does Set Me Up switch the banner on?
Yes. One press scans, fills in your cookie list, builds your policy page and switches the banner on. Everything can be changed afterwards on the Banner tab.
