ResultsAiX Consent is a WordPress plugin that asks your visitors which cookies they are happy with, holds tracking scripts back until they answer, and keeps a record of what each visitor chose. Its guiding idea is simple: block first, ask second. A banner that appears after a tracking pixel has already run has only documented what happened. This plugin holds the pixel until the visitor says yes.
What it does
- Shows a cookie banner in your colours, as a box, a bar, or in the middle of the page. Accept and Reject are always drawn the same way.
- Offers a choices panel with five cookie groups and the cookie list under each one.
- Holds matching scripts on the server so the browser does not fetch them, and puts them back only when the visitor agrees.
- Replaces embedded videos and maps with a placeholder and a button.
- Sends Google Consent Mode v2 signals, including ad_user_data and ad_personalization, with everything starting as denied.
- Scans your own pages, names the tracking services on them, and offers you the cookies each service is known to set.
- Rescans every week with Tracker Watch and emails you when a new tracking service appears.
- Keeps a consent log you can export as CSV, with a one-way fingerprint in place of the IP address.
- Shows the banner in ten languages, picked by the visitor's browser.
- Honours Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track as a refusal.
- Builds a cookie policy page, a Do Not Sell or Share page and a data request page.
What it does not do
- It cannot hold a script that another script writes into the page after it loads. Govern those inside your tag manager, through Consent Mode.
- The scanner reads the HTML of your pages. It does not run them in a browser, so a cookie that only appears once a script runs is found through the built-in dictionary of what each service sets.
- The generated policy pages are a starting point for you to edit.
An important note
ResultsAiX Consent is software, not legal advice. It asks, it blocks and it records, and you remain responsible for your own site's legal position.
Good to know
On a fresh install the banner is switched off, so nothing changes on your public site until you have read the wording and pressed the switch yourself. The plugin needs WordPress 5.8 or later and PHP 7.4 or later.
