Every conversation in every chat is kept, with where it happened, how it started, every quick question and card click, and what the visitor bought after it. Two screens read it: Chat history, to read the conversations, and Reports, to see what works.

Your chats:

Reports and Chat history cover the Sales Page Chat, the Members Helper and the homepage chat. The homepage chat is a sales chat built into a homepage of its own design, which talks to this desk at /wp-json/asd/v1/sales/chat. Its settings sit at the foot of the Chat history screen: Answer the chat on my homepage, your brand as the chat says it, who it speaks for, and Test the sales chat to ask it something the way a visitor would. For a chat you can put on any page with no building, use the Sales Page Chat under Chats.

Settings shared by every sales chat:

These are on the Chat history screen.

  • Catalog address. The web address of your product list, a JSON file, read at most once an hour. It is the one list of products, prices and links the chats are allowed to use, so the AI can never make up a price, a feature or a discount. Until it is added, no products are recommended. If the address stops answering, the last copy that worked stays in use. Read it again now reads it on the spot.
  • Put new homepage leads on this Mailer list. Email me this plan makes a ticket with the whole conversation, sends the visitor one email with what was recommended, and adds them to your Mailer. Somebody already on your Mailer is only tagged homepage-chat, and anybody unsubscribed, bounced or on your do-not-email list is never added back.
  • AI answers a day, at most, 300 by default. After it, the chats still answer and still show products, picked by keyword instead. 0 means no limit.
  • Keep chats for, in days. 0 keeps every chat. Otherwise chats nobody has touched for that long are deleted once a day. Tickets made from them stay.

Reports: what works:

Open it from the Reports: what works button on the Chats screen or on Chat history, or from the Report link on any chat's card. Choose the dates, Today, Yesterday, 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, This year, Lifetime, or Custom with your own two dates, and one chat or every chat.

The numbers across the top:

  • Page views with a chat. Page loads where the Sales Page Chat or the Members Helper was set to show. Bots and your own visits are left out. The homepage chat is not included here.
  • Opened the chat, with the share of page views.
  • Conversations, with how many questions were asked.
  • Opened a sales page, with how many card clicks there were in all.
  • Left their details, with the share of conversations.
  • Sales after a chat, with how many conversations led to a buyer.
  • Revenue after a chat, with refunds already taken off.
  • Per conversation. What one conversation is worth.

Under them, From visitor to buyer shows the path from page views to opening the chat, asking, opening a sales page and buying, and Day by day draws conversations as bars and sales as dots, for up to the last 90 days.

The tables:

  • Each chat side by side, when you are looking at every chat.
  • Sales after a chat, newest first: when, who, what they bought, the amount after refunds, how we know, which chat and page, and what they first asked, linked to the whole conversation.
  • Pages, sorted by revenue, so you see which pages the chat earns on.
  • Products the chat recommended: how often each card was shown and opened.
  • What people bought after a chat.
  • How people started: pressed the chat button, clicked the pop-up message, a Moment opened it, from a notification, or asked straight away on the homepage chat.
  • Quick questions, with taps, buyers and revenue for each.
  • What people ask first, the most common opening questions, each linked to an example.
  • Tracked links, with WP Conversion Tracker on the site: the link behind each product card, with clicks, sales and revenue. A switch turns tracked links off, so cards open the sales page directly. For a click to follow a buyer to the checkout, your sales page needs WP Conversion Tracker's own snippet.

How a sale is tied to a chat:

The desk looks for sales in WP Conversion Tracker, in your Mailer's purchase records or, without the Mailer, in the sales this desk receives, and in ResultsAiX Pulse. A sale is tied to the last conversation before it, within 30 days, and counted once:

  • Tracked link. They clicked a product card in the chat and bought through it.
  • Same email. The buyer's email is the one they left in the chat, or the member who was signed in.
  • Same visitor. ResultsAiX Pulse knows the buyer and the visitor who chatted are the same person.

Renewals are not counted, refunds are taken off, one purchase recorded by two systems is one sale, and anything you buy yourself never counts. The check runs by itself every hour, and Check for new sales now runs it straight away.

Chat history:

Open AiX Support, Chat history. Across the top: chats, questions asked, leads, buy clicks, how many bought after a chat and the revenue, with the products shown most and clicked most. Filter by chat, by dates, and by Chats, Bought after, Left their details, Opened or clicked but never asked, Your own tries and Spam. Search what was said, or an email.

Each row shows who it was, their first question, where it happened, how many questions they asked, the cards they were shown, what they clicked, the lead or signed-in member, what they bought after, and when they were last seen. Tick rows to delete them or mark them as spam.

Open one and you get the whole conversation, every card and click on the timeline, whether each answer came from the AI or was picked by keyword, the lead and the ticket made from it, and anything bought after the chat with how the sale was matched. Delete removes the conversation for good; a ticket made from it stays.

Who it was:

A person card sits at the top of every conversation and row: their photo, their name, their lifetime value with you, where they are, their device and how many visits they have made. A known person who has not bought yet says Not a customer yet. With ResultsAiX Pulse, the card opens their full timeline, a green dot shows they are online now, and Chat now lets you talk to them. Open in Mailer goes to their Mailer record, and Their tickets and products to their contact page. A name marked probably was guessed from the same internet connection by Audience Vault. All of this is for you only; a visitor never hears what they spent.

Your own tries:

Your own testing never bends the numbers. A chat counts as yours when its email belongs to an administrator or your site's admin address, including any + address such as you+test@yourdomain.com, when ResultsAiX Pulse lists the email or the browser as yours (This is me), or when it was a test in the Chats wizard. Those move to Your own tries, any sale tied to them comes off, and every number is updated.

Live chats:

With ResultsAiX Pulse on the same site, Chat history gains Live chats: the private chats on your sites. That is the ones you started from Pulse's live view, your Moments, and the assistant's opening lines. Each shows who it was, what was said, where, who started it (you, the assistant or the visitor), whether it is open or closed, and Wants you when somebody asked for a person, with any unread messages. Search by words, or by an email for that person's chats. Reply to live chats opens Pulse's chat screen.
