Where to Find Your API Key
Log in to your GoHighLevel account.
Go to Settings (gear icon in the bottom left).
Click Business Profile.
Scroll down to the API Keys section.
Click Generate API Key if you do not already have one, or copy your existing key.
Paste it into the GoHighLevel card in the plugin's Autoresponder tab.
Where to Find Your Location ID
In GoHighLevel, go to Settings → Business Profile.
Scroll down — your Location ID (also called Company ID) is displayed on this page.
Copy the ID and paste it into the Location ID field in the plugin.
How Tags Work in GoHighLevel
GoHighLevel does not use traditional mailing lists. Instead, contacts are organized using tags. When someone opts in through your funnel, the plugin creates (or updates) a contact in your GHL account using the Upsert API and applies a tag to them.
The default tag is list-builder-pro, but you can change this in the plugin's GoHighLevel connection settings.
You can also override the tag on a per-funnel basis: when editing a funnel, enter a tag name in the List/Form ID field. That value will be used as the tag for that specific funnel.
Tip: Use descriptive tag names like lead-magnet-dogs or webinar-signup so you can easily segment contacts inside GoHighLevel for follow-up campaigns and automations.
