After activation, the Setup Wizard guides you through the essential configuration. Here is what each step does:
Step 1: Welcome
A brief introduction to the plugin and what you will set up. Simply click Next to begin.
Step 2: Permalink Check
The wizard checks your permalink structure. If it is set to "Plain," you will be prompted to change it to "Post Name." The plugin can attempt to fix this automatically, or you can do it manually under Settings → Permalinks.
Step 3: Connect Your Autoresponder
Choose your email marketing service and enter its credentials. For most users, we recommend AWeber Legacy since it only requires your list name (no API keys). Details on every supported autoresponder are covered in Section 2 of this guide.
Step 4: Set Your Affiliate Link
Enter the affiliate link you want displayed on funnel download pages as the "Recommended Resource." This is the link visitors see after they subscribe and download the free report. If you do not have one yet, you can leave the default and change it later in Settings.
Step 5: Download Funnel Assets
The plugin ships with 96 done-for-you funnels, but their files (HTML pages, PDFs, images) need to be downloaded to your server. Click Download All Assets and wait for the process to finish. Depending on your server speed this may take a few minutes.
Step 6: Choose Your Funnels
Select which funnels you want to enable right away. You can always enable or disable funnels later from the Funnels tab.
Step 7: Done!
You will see a confirmation that setup is complete. From here you can go to the Dashboard, manage funnels, or customize your Showcase page.
Tip: You can re-run the Setup Wizard at any time from the Dashboard tab if you see the "Run Setup Wizard" banner.
