If you connect your own AI key, ResultsAiX Video keeps a record of what it does with it, so there are no surprises on your provider's invoice.
The AI usage panel:
Open Settings and scroll to AI usage. It shows:
- Total jobs, and jobs in the last 30 days
- Your estimated spend over the last 30 days
- The number of errors over the last 30 days
- A list of recent AI jobs with type, status, model, estimated cost, duration and when they ran
Estimates use the published token rates for each model, and they cover the newest OpenAI, Claude and Gemini models, so every call shows a cost. Treat them as a guide: the billing dashboard at your AI provider is the real invoice.
If an AI job does not complete, the reason appears under that job in the provider's own words, together with the next step to take.
A fallback provider:
Under What each AI does, pick a Backup AI. If your main AI fails, for example because of a rate limit or an outage, the plugin tries the backup automatically so your script or image direction still arrives.
- Connect the backup's key in its own card under Your AI keys (paste it and click Test).
- Under What each AI does, choose it as the Backup AI (optional).
- Click Save Settings.
The backup is only used when it is a different AI from your main one and its key is connected.
A monthly soft budget:
Enter an amount in US dollars as your Monthly soft budget. When your estimated 30 day spend passes it, you see an Over budget warning. It never blocks anything. Set it to 0 to switch the warning off. Real spending limits are always enforced by your provider.
Animated Story has its own hard limit:
The Animated Story monthly limit (under What each AI does, Draws Animated Story scenes) is a real stop, not a warning. Once this month's Animated Story pictures and moving clips reach it, no more are made until next month or until you raise it, and nothing is charged. It starts at $10.
