Most Animated Story messages say exactly what to do. Here are the common ones.
No pictures were made:
- The monthly limit is used up: the panel says so before it starts. Raise the Animated Story monthly limit in Settings, or use Free practice pictures.
- Pictures need an AI key: connect ChatGPT or Gemini under Settings, Your AI keys, or use Free practice.
- Google said the key is on the free tier: Google allows a free Gemini key 0 pictures. Turn on billing for the key in Google AI Studio (Set up billing), or set Pictures by to ChatGPT. If both keys are connected and Gemini refuses for billing, ChatGPT draws the picture instead.
Moving clips stopped:
Google limits clips per minute and per day. The plugin waits out the per minute limit by itself. For the daily limit it tells you when it resets and switches this video to Still picture so you can finish it now. See Moving Clips With Google Veo (Optional).
Open the Voice Engine first:
The voices are recorded by the free ResultsAiX Voice Engine app on your computer. Open it, wait until it says ready, then click Make everything again. Nothing already made is lost or paid for twice.
A character has no voice yet:
Click Edit on their card in step 1, pick a voice and click Save.
The faces change between scenes:
- With Free practice pictures this is expected: free engines cannot copy a reference picture. Switch Pictures by to ChatGPT or Gemini for the real video.
- With ChatGPT or Gemini, make sure the character has a reference picture (their card shows it). Describe the look in detail, or use their own photo.
A line mentions something that is not in the picture:
Change the line, or change Where they are and write the script again. The writer is told to keep every line true to the place, including the time of day.
Lip sync:
Lip sync arrives with the next Voice Engine update. Until then the scenes play with their picture, voice and a gentle camera movement. Once it is out it needs an NVIDIA graphics card on Windows, and each scene takes about 1 to 2 minutes.
The Error Log:
Diagnostics, Error Log keeps the last 7 days of problems in plain words. Download it and attach it to a support ticket if you need help.
