📊 Reading Your Numbers

Engage counts four events per campaign per day: impressions, clicks, conversions and closes. Everything else on screen is derived from those.

What each number tells you:

  • Views tell you the campaign is actually being seen
  • Clicks tell you the offer is interesting enough to act on
  • Conversions tell you it works, because a conversion is a completed opt-in
  • Click rate is clicks divided by views
  • Conversion rate is conversions divided by views

Where to find them:

The Dashboard shows live campaigns, views, conversions and leads stored for the last 30 days, plus clicks, click rate and conversion rate across everything. The Campaigns list shows views, clicks, conversions and conversion rate per campaign over the same window, so you can rank them at a glance.

Reading the numbers well:

A high view count with a low click rate is almost always the headline, not the design. Rewrite the offer before you touch the colours.

A good click rate with a poor conversion rate points at the step after the click: the form asks for too much, the promise and the delivery do not match, or the button goes somewhere unexpected.

A campaign with very few views is usually a targeting or trigger problem rather than a copy problem. Check the Targeting tab first.

Do Not Track is respected when you ask for it. There is a Settings toggle that skips recording views and clicks for visitors whose browser sends the header. Campaigns still display normally, so you are trading a little measurement for a privacy promise you can keep.

The Leads tab is the other half of the picture. It holds every opt-in tagged with the campaign that captured it, so you can tie a subscriber back to the exact bar or popup that earned them.
