Work through these in order. Most problems are one of the first three.
My campaign is not showing at all:
- Is it published? A campaign shows Live or Paused in the Campaigns list. Paused means draft, and a draft never renders.
- Does the targeting allow this page? If Show everywhere is off, check the include page IDs. Check the exclude list too, because an exclusion beats everything.
- Has it already been shown to you? Frequency capping is remembered in your browser. Test in a private window, or set the frequency to Every page view while you are checking.
- Is the device allowed? Check the Devices checklist and the hide on mobile toggle on the Design tab.
- Is there a schedule on it? A start or end date that has passed stops it silently.
- Is another popup already open? Popups are exclusive by default and the second one is queued rather than stacked.
My exit intent popup never fires:
Exit intent is desktop only by design and fires when the cursor leaves the top of the window. On a phone there is nothing to leave. Test it on a desktop browser, and move the mouse up out of the viewport rather than clicking away.
My leads are not reaching my autoresponder:
The lead is not lost. Check the Leads tab first, because it is stored there before any delivery is attempted.
- Open Diagnostics, switch logging on, and submit one test opt-in.
- Read the log. The delivery line names the service and gives the reason in plain English.
- A rejected key means reconnect it on the Connections tab and click Test.
- That list could not be found means the list was renamed or deleted. Click Refresh beside the list picker in the builder and choose it again.
- Check the campaign actually has an autoresponder chosen. Save on this site only stores the lead and stops there.
My form submits but nothing happens:
Check the success message and the redirect URL on the Opt-in tab. A redirect to an invalid URL will look like a silent failure.
My admin screens look wrong after an update:
Hard refresh once. Assets are versioned by file modification time, so a stale stylesheet is unusual, but a browser cache can still hold on.
