A funnel is a sequence of pages, each with one job. The plugin knows the standard types and builds the right sections for each.
The page types you can build:
- Optin or Squeeze: one promise, one form, no distractions. The job is the email address.
- Sales or Offer: the long form page. Problem, promise, proof, offer, guarantee and close.
- Webinar Register: books the seat and sets expectations for the event.
- Download or Access: hands over what you promised and points at the next step.
- Thank You: confirms the action and keeps the momentum going.
- Upsell or One Time Offer: the immediate second offer after a purchase.
- Bridge or Pre-sell: warms a visitor up before sending them to an offer, which is common in affiliate promotions.
There are also Legal and Custom types for supporting pages that do not follow a funnel pattern.
How pages are wired together:
Each page stores the id of the page that comes next, so the funnel flows in the order you asked for. A typical lead funnel runs optin, then thank you, then sales. A typical product funnel runs sales, then upsell, then download.
Choosing pages for a first build:
- Building a list: optin plus thank you
- Selling a product: sales plus thank you plus download
- Running a webinar: webinar register plus thank you
- Full launch: optin, thank you, sales, upsell, download
Adding a page later:
You do not have to get the page list right the first time. You can generate a small funnel now and use the Import Page screen to add another page to the same funnel later, or generate a second funnel for the next stage.
A note on links between pages:
When you publish to WordPress, the plugin knows the real permalink of every page in the funnel and links them correctly. When you export a zip, the pages cross link to each other as files, so the funnel works even with no WordPress at all.
