Connecting your email tool tells the plugin what you use. Telling a form where to send its leads is a separate step, and it is set on each form so two forms in the same funnel can feed two different lists.
How to set it:
- Open the funnel and go to the page with the optin form.
- Click Edit Content.
- Find the optin form section and its Where These Leads Go panel.
What each setting does:
- Send To: which connection receives the lead. Leave it empty to store the lead on this site only.
- List: loaded live from your account. Press Refresh lists if you created one a moment ago.
- Tags: comma separated. Quietly skipped by tools that have no concept of tags.
- Also Post To A Webhook: optional, and runs alongside the connection rather than instead of it.
- After They Opt In: what the visitor sees next.
The redirect, in detail:
You have three choices. Show the success message, which keeps the visitor on the page. Go to a page in this funnel, which is the safe option because the link is worked out for you and keeps working after you publish or export. Or go to any URL you like, inside or outside your site.
Most squeeze pages should redirect. A thank you page lets you confirm what happens next, set expectations about the email, and make a first offer while attention is highest.
Why the list is not stored in the page:
The page never carries your list ID. When a lead arrives, the plugin looks up where that particular form sends leads from the funnel you saved. It means nobody can read your list ID from the page source, and nobody can aim your forms at a different list by tampering with the page.

Every form carries a hidden field that bots fill in and people never see, and it ignores anything submitted in under two seconds. Both are silent, so a real visitor never meets a puzzle or a checkbox.
