An autoresponder connection is what turns an opt-in into a subscriber on your list. Open the Autoresponders tab to set one up.
The providers the plugin ships with:

Two submission styles:
API connected providers subscribe server side over an AJAX call, so the visitor never leaves the page. The form based providers post directly to the provider from the browser and return to your download page.
Connecting an API provider:
- Find the provider's card on the Autoresponders tab.
- Enter its credentials and click Connect.
- Use Test Connection to confirm the plugin can reach the API and read your lists.
- Pick your list from the default list dropdown that appears once connected.
Applying a list across your funnels:
Each connected card offers two bulk actions. Apply to Funnels Without a List fills in only the funnels that have nothing set. Apply to ALL Funnels overwrites every funnel, including any per funnel choices you made, and asks for confirmation first.
What is the difference between the default and an override?
The default provider and list, set on the Autoresponders tab or in Settings, is used by every funnel that has nothing of its own. A per funnel override, set on the funnel edit screen, wins for that one funnel.
The list field label changes to match the provider you pick, because the value means something different in each one. It is a list ID in some, a campaign in GetResponse, a form ID in ConvertKit, and a tag in GoHighLevel.
The custom HTML option:
Paste the complete form HTML from any provider. The plugin sanitises it with a permissive rule set that keeps form, input, select, textarea and button elements intact while stripping scripts and event handlers. WordPress's normal content sanitiser removes form fields entirely, so the plugin uses its own.
Collecting the first name:
Opt-in forms ask for an email address only by default. Turn on the first name field in Settings and a name input appears on every squeeze page form, with the name passed to your provider.
