🎯 Splash Pages

A Splash page is a fast, curated grid of report covers on a single URL. You send one link to an audience and let each visitor choose the topic they care about, instead of guessing which report to send them to.

Availability:

Splash pages render only when your licence unlocks all 8 niches. On a single niche licence the tab shows an explainer instead.

Creating one:

  1. Open the Splash Pages tab and create a page.
  2. Set the slug, which becomes the page URL.
  3. Set the badge line, the headline and the subtitle.
  4. Choose a dark or light theme.
  5. Choose whether report titles are shown under the covers.
  6. Choose the opt-in mode.
  7. Pick the reports that appear, in the order you want them.
  8. Enable the page and save.

You can create as many Splash pages as you like, one per audience or per campaign. Slugs are made unique automatically, so two pages can never fight over the same URL. If duplicate slugs already exist from an older version, the plugin repairs them on its own, letting the lowest numbered page keep the original slug.

The two opt-in modes:

Link mode sends the visitor to the report's own squeeze page in the normal way.

Popup mode opens that squeeze page inside a modal on the Splash page itself. In this mode the plugin forces the opt-in popup open, neutralises the page's own close handlers so it cannot be dismissed into an empty frame, and targets form submissions at a new tab so the Splash page underneath stays put. The exit intent script and the urgency bar are suppressed inside the modal.

Statistics:

Splash pages keep their own daily statistics table with page views and per report clicks, so you can see which covers actually get picked. The tab shows a report popularity view and a most popular reports list. There is a reset action that wipes the recorded statistics for one page, and deleting a page removes its statistics too.

When should I use a Splash page instead of the Showcase?

The Showcase is your permanent full catalogue with search and category navigation. A Splash page is a short, deliberately narrow selection built for one campaign or one audience.
