Installing:
In WordPress go to Plugins, Add New, Upload Plugin, choose the ResultsAiX Optimize zip file, install it and activate it. A new menu called "AiX Optimize" appears in the WordPress sidebar.
Activating your licence:
Until a key is active the menu opens a screen titled "Activate your license". Paste the key from your purchase email into the "License key" field (it looks like AIOPTIMIZE-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) and press "Activate license". When you see "License activated successfully!" the screen reloads and every tab unlocks. If you have lost the key, the "Find it in your portal" link on that screen takes you to your account.
ResultsAiX Optimize is included in the ResultsAiX bundle.
The licence panel:
After activation the licence lives at the top of the Settings tab. It shows your "License Key" (masked), the "Status", "Licensed To", the "Renews" date and an "Activated Domains" list with how many sites are used. This site is marked "(this site)".
- "Refresh License Info" re-checks your key and updates the list of sites.
- "Remove" next to another site frees its slot. In the panel's own words: "It frees the slot for a new install; it does not switch the plugin off on that site." It is useful for staging copies and sites you have stopped using.
- "Deactivate This Site" releases this site. The plugin stops working here until you activate it again.
- "Change license key" with the "Replace key" button swaps in a different key.
- "All my keys & downloads" opens your account portal.
Messages you may see:
- "License key not recognized. Please check your purchase email."
- "This key is valid but does not include ResultsAiX Optimize."
- "This license has no available sites left. Deactivate it on another site first."
- "This license has expired. Please renew to reactivate."
- "Could not reach the license server. Please try again in a moment."
Good to know:
Deactivating the plugin on the WordPress Plugins screen also releases this site's slot, so enter your key again after you reactivate it. If a licence lapses, tests that are already running keep running and collecting on your site. Only the management screens wait for a valid key.
