Under Visitor Chat, Ask for a name and email in the chat has three settings:
- Ask (the default): a short form at the top of the chat that the visitor may skip.
- Require: they must leave a name and email before the first message is sent.
- Never ask: a plain anonymous chat.
Mailer connected Pick the list under Add every chat lead to this ResultsAiX Mailer list and the tag to give them (default visitor-chat). The lead is added the moment they press send, shows as a new lead on the globe, and appears on the Chats page with a LEAD badge and a link straight to their Mailer record.
Mailer not installed Without the ResultsAiX Mailer the email is still saved on the chat and shown on the Chats page. Install the Mailer and a list picker appears here by itself.
Somebody you already know is recognised the moment they type their email: the chat header on your side fills in with their name, value and history before you answer.
