The Live View runs the real renderer in the real stylesheet, so what you see is exactly what a shortcode or your public page shows, plus the things only you may see.
- The dots. One dot per place. Everybody online right now is a bright, pulsing dot, and on your Live View their first name and lifetime value sit beside it (never on a public page). Visitors seen earlier stay on as softer dots. A dot grows when more people are in the same place.
- Globe or Map. The switch at the top. Both zoom: the mouse wheel, a double click (map), or the minus, plus and reset buttons. Drag the globe to spin it, or drag the zoomed map to move around. The globe turns to where your visitors are when it opens.
- Live and Playback. Press Playback, pick how far back with the button beside the speed (1 hour, 6 hours, today or 24 hours), and the visits replay in under a minute, quiet stretches skipped, every one listed in the Activity Log. The speed button changes the pace; click the timeline to jump. Live brings you back to now.
- Everybody here, in full. Under the globe: today's figures, then On Your Sites Right Now with each person's photo, name, email, the site and page they are on, where they came from, how long they have been there and what they are worth to you, with Talk and Timeline buttons. Below that, today's sales and leads, top pages and countries.
- Chats. The Chats button opens the chat panel beside the globe: who is online now, open chats and closed ones. Talk on anybody opens a chat on their screen within a few seconds.
- Ten themes. Night Earth, Daylight, Midnight Gold, Deep Space, Aurora, Blossom, Emerald, Sunset, Blueprint and Carbon. Two layouts: Command (globe with the figures around it) and Hero (the globe on its own). Set the defaults under Settings, Display Defaults. Full Screen is made for a second monitor.
Nothing moving? Your own visits are never shown, so open your site in a private window or on your phone with wifi off. If the globe still stays empty, Diagnostics tells you which part is not answering.
