Pulse uses your own key, so you pay the provider directly at their price and nothing is marked up. One key is enough.
Connecting
- Open the AI Assistant tab. Three providers: Google Gemini (a free key is available, no card), Anthropic Claude and OpenAI.
- Each card has How To Get Your Key In 60 Seconds with the exact link and steps.
- Paste the key and press Test connection. It makes one real call and tells you in plain words if anything is wrong.
- Pick the model, a primary provider and, if you have two keys, a backup that is used only when the primary errors.
Keys are stored encrypted and are never shown again. To change one, paste a new one. To remove one, tick remove key.
What it does
- Answers private chats. Either after a head start you choose (you get, say, 60 seconds to answer first) or straight away. It hands over to you the moment somebody asks for a person, and the chat is flagged as waiting for you.
- Writes opening lines for a Moment whose line you left empty, for that page and that kind of person.
- Screens every message for spam and abuse. Your own blocked words list works instantly with no AI at all.
Teaching it
The box What the assistant knows about your business is everything it may say: what you sell, prices, links, opening hours, your tone. Type it or press 🎤 Talk and say it (your browser's own voice engine, nothing is uploaded and it costs nothing). It is told never to invent a price, a promise or a policy that is not in there. There is room for 60,000 characters, about 10,000 words.
What else it reads, for every question. Under the box, This website's own pages, posts and products (on by default): for each question it looks up the best matching published pages on this site and may link to them. Only what the public can already read, never drafts, private posts or password pages, and nothing is copied or indexed: WordPress's own search runs when a question comes in. With ResultsAiX Support Desk installed, its help articles are read the same way. The box you typed always comes first; the pages and articles add detail for that one question.
No key, no clutter. Without a key every AI control stays out of your way and chat works as a normal person to person chat.
