Journals and planners are the quiet workhorse of low content publishing: no story, no characters, and steady evergreen demand for gratitude journals, habit trackers, teacher planners and prompt journals.
The five interior styles:
The plugin rotates through five interior templates in order across the whole book:
- Lined: evenly spaced ruled lines in light gray.
- Dot grid: a fine dot lattice for bullet journalling and sketching.
- Habit tracker: a titled grid with a month field, a habit name column and 31 numbered day columns, sized to between four and fourteen habit rows depending on the page height.
- Daily planner: a titled page with a date field and hourly slots running from 06:00 to 21:00.
- Prompts: a centered journaling prompt in italics with writing lines underneath.
Every one of these is drawn with vector lines, boxes and real text at export time. No image is generated, so the pages cost nothing, they print perfectly crisp, and the queue marks them done the instant they are created.
Why do journals build so fast?
Because the only thing the AI generates for a journal is the cover art. The interior is pure drawing. A 120 page journal assembles almost immediately compared with a full color story book of the same length.
Journal geometry:
Journals default to 6 by 9 inches with no bleed, the size buyers expect for this category, and to 120 pages. Going long is normal here. Note that once a book reaches 79 pages the cover generator will also draw the title on the spine, so a typical journal gets spine text automatically.
