The Settings tab opens with your license panel, then has four settings. It is short on purpose.
Your license:
The panel at the top shows your masked key, status, licensed email, renewal date and the sites the key is activated on. It is where you activate, change, refresh or deactivate your license, so there is no separate License tab.
Default image provider:
Which provider generates page images when no character is locked. Pollinations is the default because it works immediately with no setup. Switch it once you have added premium keys and tested them. Note that story books, and any project with an approved character sheet, automatically prefer a reference capable provider, Google or FLUX, when a key exists, regardless of this setting.
Paper type:
White or cream. This is not cosmetic. It changes the per page thickness used to calculate the spine width on your wraparound cover, 0.002252 inch per page for white and 0.0025 inch per page for cream. Pick the same paper you will select at upload, or the printed spine will not line up with the artwork. White is standard for coloring books, cream is common for story books and journals.
Color scheme:
Eleven choices. Follow the ResultsAiX Hub is the default: the plugin matches the look you chose in the Hub, so every ResultsAiX plugin changes together, and shows WordPress Native if no Hub look is set. The other ten are the admin themes shipped across the whole plugin range, from Results Amber through Clean White, Ivory Cream, Snow Light, Developer Dark, Midnight Blue, Ocean Blue, Sunset Warm, Rose Pink and WordPress Native. This is purely how the admin screens look and it has no effect on generated books.
Cost and safety:
Text AI (story writing, listing kits and niche suggestions) runs on your own keys. Once you have generated something, this section shows how many text calls you made in the last 30 days and an estimate of what they cost on your keys, typically a few cents per book. Images are billed separately by your image provider, so they are shown as a count rather than a price.
Background generation also has a daily image safety cap, set to 500 by default, so an unattended queue can never run away with a paid provider. This section shows how many images have been generated today. When the cap is reached the queue pauses and a message says so. Nothing is lost: generation resumes automatically the next day, or you can raise the cap here. Set it to 0 to turn the cap off. Your own clicks, such as Reroll and retry, always go through.
Where are the print settings?
There are none to set, deliberately. Trim size, bleed, margins and the gutter ladder are derived from the book type and the page count, and they are applied at export time. The only print decision left in your hands is the paper type, because only you know which one you will pick at the printer.
Help and your account:
At the bottom of the page four shortcuts open your account portal for license keys, downloads and invoices, the support contact page, the Diagnostics tab for a health report before you reach out, and the Training tab.
Click Save Settings after changing anything. Paper type takes effect on the next cover build, so if you change it after exporting, run Build Export Files again.
