Do signers need an account or a WordPress login?
No. They click the link in their email, tick the consent box, sign and are done, on any phone or computer.
Is there a limit on documents or signers?
No. It runs on your own site, so there is no per document or per envelope meter. Add as many signers to a document as the deal needs.
Can I send the link myself instead of by email?
Yes. Use Copy Signing Link on the document's status page and share it however you like. It behaves exactly like the emailed link, so treat it as that signer's credential.
Where are signatures and PDFs stored?
In a protected folder inside your WordPress uploads directory, with direct web access denied. Files are served only through links that check either an admin capability or the signer's own token.
What happens if my licence lapses?
Documents already out for signature keep working, signers can still sign, and completed documents stay downloadable through their links. The admin management screens lock until you renew.
Can I use my own contract instead of a template?
Yes. Paste it into the editor and insert signature fields, or upload it as a PDF and let signers sign against the file as supplied.
Does it work with page builders?
The signing page renders standalone rather than inside your theme, so themes and builders cannot interfere with it.
What if two people sign at the same moment?
Each signature is recorded independently against its own signer, and the document only completes once every signer is done.
Can I delete a document?
Drafts and unfinished documents, yes, from the Documents list. Completed documents are protected as records and cannot be deleted there. The Danger Zone in Settings is the only way to remove everything.
Does uninstalling the plugin delete my contracts?
No. Uninstalling clears only scheduled tasks and cached update data. Your documents, signatures and audit trails remain.
Can I change a document after sending it?
No, and that is the point. Void it and send a duplicate with the correction.
Do I need PRO?
No. Core sends unlimited documents, handles multi signer flows, seals the final PDF and keeps the full audit trail on its own. PRO adds AI drafting, automatic reminders, bulk send, branding, webhooks, in person and embedded signing.
