🚀 Quick Start: Your First Signed Document

Once the plugin is installed and licensed, a new AI Sign menu appears in your WordPress admin. Here is the shortest path to a signed document.

1. Pick a starting point. Open the Templates tab and click Use This Template on the agreement that fits. Client Services Agreement is the general purpose one. You can also click New Document and write your own text, or upload a PDF.
2. Fill the merge fields. The Merge Fields panel finds every placeholder in the document text, things like {client_name}, {amount} and {jurisdiction}, and gives you a box for each. Type your values and click Apply Merge Fields to drop them into the text.
3. Add your signers. Each signer row takes a name and an email address. The number badge on the left is that signer's position, and it is what the signature tags in the document refer to. Choose In order, where signer 2 is invited once signer 1 has finished, or All at once.
4. Send it. Add a short personal message if you want one, then click Send for Signature. Every signer gets their own private link by email.
5. Watch it complete. The document's status page shows each signer's progress along with timestamps, IP addresses and the full audit trail. When the last person signs, the sealed PDF is emailed to every signer, to you as the document creator, and to anyone on the CC list.

A useful first test:

Send your very first document to a second email address of your own. You see the entire recipient experience exactly as a client does, from the invitation email through to the finished PDF, and it costs you nothing but a couple of minutes.

Before the document sends, the plugin checks that every signer has a signature field, that no merge field is still unfilled, that there is at least one signer with an email address, and that an uploaded PDF actually exists. If something is missing, the error message names the exact problem.
