Requirements:
WP Sync requires WordPress 5.0 or newer and PHP 7.4 or newer. It runs on standard shared hosting and needs no special server software.
Install the core plugin:
- Download the WP Sync zip from your account portal.
- In WordPress go to Plugins, then Add New, then Upload Plugin, and choose the zip.
- Click Install Now, then Activate.
- A WP Sync item appears in the WordPress admin menu.
Activate your license:
Until a key is entered, the plugin shows a single activation screen. Paste the license key that was emailed to you after purchase and click Activate License. The full tab bar unlocks immediately. If you cannot find your key, it is also listed in your account portal, and support can look it up for you.
Installing the packs:
The Pro Pack and the Connect Pack are separate WordPress plugins with their own license keys. Install and activate each one like any other plugin, then enter its key on the Add-ons tab inside WP Sync. Their connectors only register once both gates are open: WP Sync core is licensed, and that pack has its own key activated. Once activated, the new apps appear straight away in Connections and in the bridge builder.
Updates:
Core and both packs carry a built in updater, so new versions appear in the normal WordPress Plugins screen once your license is active.
A note on safety:
WP Sync loads its connector files defensively. If a single connector file ever fails to compile on your PHP version, that one file is quarantined so the rest of the site stays online, and it is automatically brought back on the next plugin version.
