The builder has a "Form name" and "Status" at the top, the AI box under that, and then three columns: the "Add a field" palette, the canvas with your fields as cards, and the form settings (Style, After submit, Send leads to ResultsAiX Mailer, Notification email and Confirmation email). Below them sits the "Live preview".

Adding and arranging fields:

  • Click a field type in the palette to add it to the bottom of the canvas. It opens ready to edit.
  • Drag a card by its header to move it, or use the ▲ and ▼ buttons.
  • ⧉ duplicates a field with all its settings. ✎ opens or closes the card. ✕ removes it.
  • A star (*) on the header means Required. A ⚡ means conditional logic is on.

The live preview:

The preview is the real form, drawn by the same code and the same stylesheet your visitors get, not a sketch of it. It updates a moment after you stop typing, and a small note beside the heading says whether it is up to date. Nothing in it is saved until you click "Save form". Conditional logic, validation and sending run on the live page, so test those on the page where the form is published.

Settings inside a card:

  • "Label": the question the visitor sees. Leave it blank and the field type's name is used.
  • "Placeholder": hint text inside the box, on text, paragraph, email, phone, URL, number and dropdown fields. On a dropdown it becomes the first line of the list.
  • "Options": for Dropdown, Radio buttons and Checkboxes. New fields start with "Option 1" and "Option 2". Use "+ Add option" for more. A choice field needs at least two options to be saved.
  • "Required" and "Width". "Half width" puts two short fields side by side, such as name next to email. On phone screens they stack again.
  • "Min length" and "Max length" on Single line text and Paragraph text. Max length stops typing at that number and shows a live character counter under the field, on Single line text and Paragraph text alike. An answer that is too short shows a message such as "Please enter at least 20 characters."
  • "Merge tag for emails": once the form has been saved, every field that stores an answer shows its own tag on its card, such as {field:f3}, with a "Copy" button. Paste it into the notification or thank you email to print that one answer.
  • "Pattern (regular expression, optional)" for strict formats such as an order number. An answer that does not match shows "That does not look like the expected format."
  • "Min" and "Max" on Number fields.

Nothing is lost by accident:

  • Leaving the builder with unsaved changes asks "Leave without saving?" first, with "Stay here" to go back to your work. Closing or reloading the browser tab gets your browser's own leave page check.
  • Deleting a field also removes any conditional logic rules that were watching it, and the builder tells you how many it removed, so no rule is left pointing at a field that no longer exists. As with every change, nothing is saved until you click Save.

Status:

"Draft (not shown)", "Active (live)" or "Closed (stops collecting)". Only Active forms appear on your site. From the Forms tab, Activate needs at least one field on the form.

Saving:

Click "Save form". As the save bar says, "Fields, style and emails all save together." A form saved with no name is called "Untitled form". "Duplicate" on the Forms tab makes a Draft copy with "(copy)" after the name and opens it in the builder, which is the quick way to reuse a form you like.
