Every survey is built from the same rows whether AI wrote them or you did.
- Add question adds a row. Pick its type from the dropdown, type the question text, and add answer options where the type needs them.
- Reorder with the up and down buttons. Visitors always see them in this order.
- Required means the visitor cannot move past the question without answering it. Use it sparingly, because every required question costs completions.
- The remove button deletes a question, or an individual answer option.
Rules enforced when you save:
Two rules mean a broken survey can never reach a visitor. A question with no text is dropped, and a multiple choice or checkbox question needs at least two options or it is dropped too. A save that would somehow arrive empty for a survey that already has questions is treated as a bad submit, and your existing questions are kept.
Survey details:
- Title is for you, in your admin lists. Visitors never see it, so name it something you will recognise in six months.
- Status is Draft, meaning invisible, Active, meaning collecting, or Closed, meaning stopped. A survey needs at least one question before it can be activated.
- Goal is what you want to learn. Worth filling in even when you build by hand, because the AI analysis reads it later to judge what matters.
Duplicating and deleting:
On the Surveys list, Duplicate copies a survey questions and every setting into a new Draft, which is the fastest way to run a second version or A/B two wordings. Delete removes the survey and all of its responses, and asks you to confirm first.
