  • Multiple choice, pick one: the workhorse. Two to six short options. Taps advance the survey automatically, so these are the fastest questions to answer.
  • Checkboxes, pick several: for select all that apply. Great for feature interest and content preferences. Each ticked option is counted separately in your charts.
  • Star rating, 1 to 5: satisfaction in a single tap. Stars light up as the visitor hovers and picks. You get an average plus the full distribution.
  • Score 0 to 10, NPS: the classic how likely are you to recommend us scale, with Not likely and Extremely likely labels on the ends.
  • Yes / No: a clean binary, shown as two side by side buttons.
  • Short answer: one line of free text. Names, single features, one word reasons.
  • Long answer: a multi line box for the answers that actually explain things. Put these last and expect fewer of them; the ones you get are gold.

Structure the survey, then let text explain it:

Choice, rating, score and yes/no answers become countable charts. Written answers cannot be charted, but they are exactly what the AI analysis reads to tell you why the numbers look the way they do. A good survey has both.

How answers are validated:

Every answer is checked against the survey own question list when it is submitted. A choice that is not one of your options, a rating outside 1 to 5, or a score outside 0 to 10 is discarded rather than stored. Written answers are capped at 5,000 characters each.
