With the ResultsAiX Mailer plugin active on this same site, every survey can add its opt-ins directly to a Mailer list. Nothing to paste: Mailer runs inside this WordPress install, so the plugin talks to it directly and there is no API key.
Set it per survey:
- Open the survey builder and scroll to Email opt-in, then Where opt-ins go.
- Pick the Mailer list under Add to a ResultsAiX Mailer list. With lots of lists, the search box above the dropdown finds the right one as you type, and your chosen list always stays put while you search.
- Optionally add Mailer tags, comma separated. Tags are added to the subscriber, never replacing the tags they already carry, so an existing subscriber keeps their history.
- Save. From then on every opt-in on that survey lands in the list instantly.
What Mailer does with them:
- The list's own double opt-in setting is respected. If the list confirms by email, survey opt-ins get the same confirmation email as any other subscriber.
- Automations fire normally. Anything in Mailer that starts on joins a list or on a tag runs exactly as it would for a form built in Mailer itself.
- No duplicates. An address already in Mailer is updated and added to the list, never duplicated, and your Mailer suppression list is always honored.
Mailer and WP Sync together:
They are not either/or. Both can be on at once: the same opt-in can land in your Mailer list and also flow through a WP Sync bridge to any other autoresponder. And whatever happens, every opt-in is always saved with its response on your own site first, so a delivery hiccup can never lose you a subscriber.
Route answers: different lists, different pages, the quiz-funnel move:
Under Route answers to different lists on the builder, add rules like: if question two was answered I run an agency, add to the Agency list. Each rule picks a question, one of its answers, a Mailer list and optional tags. Several rules can match one person and they land on every list they earned, while the always-on list above still collects everyone. Each rule can also send that respondent to a different page after they submit: the first matching redirect wins, and the survey thank-you redirect is the fallback. The destination is decided on your server from the validated answers, and redirect-only rules work even without the Mailer plugin. Works with choice, checkbox, yes/no, rating and score questions; save the survey once so new questions become routable.
