Once a survey has its own page, the Publish & share step shows a ready-made email link, and the Surveys list has a Copy email link button on every survey with a page. It looks like this:
https://yoursite.com/your-survey/?email={{email}}&fname={{first_name}}
Paste it into an email in ResultsAiX Mailer as the link on a button or on text. Mailer fills in each subscriber's own email and first name, so the survey knows who they are: they tap through the questions and their last answer sends everything, with no Name and Email step at all. Their answers land on their subscriber record, and any lists and tags from your routing rules are added to them.
- Using a different email service? Keep the link and swap {{email}} and {{first_name}} for that service's own merge tags.
- Someone who opens the survey without the link, from your website for example, still sees the Name and Email step as normal.
- Routing rules can tag people without adding them to a list, which is ideal here: your subscribers are already on your list, so a rule can simply tag them by their answers.
