PRO keeps a record of every AI job it runs with your key, so there are no surprises on your provider's invoice.
The AI Usage panel:
Open AiX Search, then Settings, then the PRO Settings tab and find AI Usage. It shows:
- Total Jobs
- Jobs in the Last 30 Days
- Your estimated spend over the last 30 days
- Errors over the last 30 days
- A table of recent jobs with type, status, model, estimated cost, duration and when they ran
Costs are estimates worked out from each model's published token prices, and they cover the newest OpenAI, Claude and Gemini models. Treat them as a guide. The billing dashboard at your AI provider is the real invoice.
A fallback provider:
Under AI Connection you can choose a Fallback provider. If your primary provider fails, for example because of a rate limit or an outage, PRO tries the fallback automatically, so your answer or report still arrives.
- Choose the fallback provider.
- Paste its own API key in the box that appears for it.
- Click Save PRO Settings.
The fallback is only used when it is a different provider from your primary one and has a key saved.
A monthly soft budget:
Enter an amount in US dollars as your Monthly soft budget. When this month's estimated spend passes it, the usage panel shows an Over budget warning. Everything keeps working. Set it to 0, or leave it empty, to switch the warning off. Hard limits belong to your provider.
Test each connection:
Every provider has a Test connection button that sends a tiny real request, so you can check a key before you rely on it.
