🔤 Typo Tolerance And Did You Mean

People misspell things, especially on a phone. Without help, a single wrong letter returns nothing at all.

How it works:

When a search returns no results, PRO quietly retries with a relaxed version of the query. It collapses repeated letters and shortens longer words to their stem, which the search engine then matches by prefix. If that retry finds something, those results are shown along with a Did you mean line offering the corrected phrase.

What the visitor sees:

The results they were looking for, plus a small Did you mean suggestion they can click to run the corrected search properly.

Turn it on or off:

In PRO Settings, under Search Power, tick or untick Typo tolerance.

Good to know:

The suggestion is only offered when the retry actually found something the visitor is allowed to see, so you never get a Did you mean sitting above an empty result list.
