When a visitor searches for something you do not have, you normally lose them. Lead capture offers to tell them when you do cover it.
Turn it on:
In PRO Settings, tick Offer an email signup when a search finds nothing. Then write your headline, message, button text and thank you message.
What the visitor sees:
When their search returns nothing, a small form appears in place of the results asking for their email. After they submit it, your thank you message replaces the form.
Where the leads go:
- Stored in your site and listed on the Leads screen, with the search term that triggered each one
- Emailed to you, if you set an address in Email Me Each Lead
- Sent to a webhook, if you set one
The webhook:
It posts JSON containing the email, the search term, your site address and the time. That works with WP Sync, Zapier, or any autoresponder that accepts a webhook, so leads can go straight into a list or an automation.
Why the search term matters:
Every lead arrives attached to what that person was looking for. That is unusually good context: you know exactly what to send them and exactly what content to make next.
Protection built in:
The form endpoint is rate limited per visitor and switches off entirely when the feature is off, so it cannot be used to flood your inbox.
