The digest is the easiest habit in the plugin: it comes to you.
Turn it on:
In PRO Settings, tick Email me a weekly summary of search activity and set the address. Leave the address empty to use your site admin email.
What arrives:
- How many searches happened, and whether that is up or down on the week before
- How many different terms were used
- Result clicks and your click-through rate
- How many searches found nothing
- Your ten most searched terms
- The ten things your visitors could not find
The last section is the one to act on. It is a weekly, automatically generated list of content your audience has asked you for.
When it sends:
Once a week from the time you switch it on. The Insights PRO screen shows when the next one is due.
Turning it off:
Untick the setting and save. The schedule is removed straight away.
