The Builder tab assembles any shortcode for you, so there is nothing to memorise.
Ready made favourites:
At the top are shortcodes you can copy straight away:

Build your own:
Choose what to build with the three buttons: Search Bar, Results Page or Member Activity. Then click the options.
- Search Bar: placeholder text, width, alignment, style, accent colour, font, max results, group by, only these content types, only these categories, an extra CSS class, and switches for thumbnails, the excerpt line and focusing the bar on page load
- Results Page: the width, where 100% gives the full theme width
- Member Activity: which list, your own heading, how many items show at first and the maximum
Your shortcode:
It appears in the Your Shortcode box and updates as you click. Only the options you changed are included, so it stays clean. Click Copy and paste it into any page, post or widget.
Save your favourites:
Type a name, for example Header bar, and click Save This Shortcode. Saved shortcodes are listed beside the builder. Load one back to edit it and save it again.
Live preview:
The preview is your real search, restyled as you change options. The results page is a whole page, so paste its shortcode onto a page to see it in full.
