Under Settings, Connect Your Autoresponder, switch on the tools you use and enter your details. When somebody registers for any webinar on the site, they are added to each enabled list automatically.
The five built in connectors and what each needs:
- Mailchimp: an API key, your Audience ID, and an optional tag
- ActiveCampaign: your API URL, an API key, a List ID, and an optional tag
- GetResponse: an API key and your Campaign, that is list, ID
- ConvertKit: an API key, a Form ID, and an optional Tag ID
- AWeber: the list name and the web form ID taken from one of your AWeber web forms, with no API key involved
Where to find AWeber's values:
Open one of your AWeber web forms, view its HTML, and copy the unit value, which is your list name, and the meta_web_form_id value. AWeber is connected through its classic web form endpoint rather than an API, so it has no key field.
Testing a connection:
Each connector has its own Test connection button. Save your settings first, then click Test. Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, GetResponse and ConvertKit are tested against the live API and report whether your key was accepted. AWeber can only confirm that the list name and form ID are saved, so register a test seat to prove the lead lands.
What is sent:
The email address and first name, plus the optional tag where that provider supports one. Tagging by behaviour, for example tagging attendees differently from no shows, is not handled by these direct connectors. Route the events through the webhook for that.
How your keys are stored:
API keys are encrypted in your database and the settings screen only ever shows a masked version. Leaving a masked field untouched keeps the saved key, so you never need to retype it.
If a connector goes quiet:
Save your settings, click Test connection, and check that the list, audience, campaign or form ID matches the list you are actually watching. A connector that is switched off, or missing a required field, is simply skipped.
