The Host Chat Console works for every mode, not just live, because an AI Deck and a recorded webinar have a live audience too. It sits on the Content tab, directly under the delivery controls. From any other tab, the Host Console button at the top of the editor jumps straight to it. On a Live webinar that button reads Go Live.

What you can do:

  • Choose which session to watch. The console opens on the live session or the nearest one, and lists recent and upcoming sessions.
  • Watch the room's chat as it happens, with the number of people watching
  • Post as the host. Your messages are highlighted for everyone.
  • Pin one message to the top of everyone's chat, or clear the pin
  • Delete any message
  • Block someone. It removes everything they have said in that session and silences them for good on that webinar. Their own screen looks normal, but nothing they send reaches the room. A clear button beside the blocked count lifts every block.

Changes reach every attendee within a few seconds.

Chat moderation modes:

  • Open (instant). Every message appears at once, and you can still delete and block. This is the default.
  • AI screened. AI checks each message. Clean ones appear at once, and anything suspicious, such as promotion of another product or site, an affiliate link, crypto or trading promotion, adult content, insults or spam, is held for you. This needs an AI key. If none is connected, or the AI cannot give an answer, the message is held rather than published, so the room is never left unprotected.
  • Hold all for approval. Every attendee message waits for you to approve it.

Questions and raised hands:

Attendees can send you a question or raise a hand. Neither appears in the room. They land in a queue at the top of the console that only you see. For a question you can read it out, which publishes it into the room as that attendee's message so everyone sees what you are about to answer, pin it, or dismiss it. A raised hand carries no words, so dismiss it once you have answered.

The AI co-host:

With an AI key connected, each question has a Draft answer button. The AI reads the question, the text of your slides and the headline of your offer, and writes a short reply into your message box. You read it, change anything you want, and press Send. It never posts by itself, and it is told to use only your own material rather than invent facts, prices or guarantees.

Polls from the console:

If the webinar has polls, the console lets you push one to the room early and close it again. See Live Polls And Handouts.

Pop out to a second screen:

The console can open its parts in their own windows, so you can keep them beside your slides or on a second monitor:

  • Chat. The live chat with the pinned message and a box to reply.
  • Attendees. Who is here, how many minutes they have watched, whether they are still watching or have left, and who has clicked your offer. It refreshes every five seconds.
  • Camera, Screen and Screen + Camera. A preview of what you are broadcasting or recording, with a microphone level meter on the camera preview.
  • Open all. Opens the chat, the attendees list and a screen with camera window one after another, spaced so your browser allows all three.

Float chat on top:

This tick box makes the chat window sit above every other window. Your browser is allowed to close a floating window whenever another window opens, so it is off by default and best used when chat is the one pop out you want. With it off, all the pop outs stay open together.

The pop out windows follow the colour scheme you chose under Settings.
