The Replay tab has three settings and they decide how much a webinar keeps earning after the airing.
The settings:
- Offer a replay after the webinar, on or off
- Replay expires after, in hours, defaulting to 72 and accepting anything up to 720. Zero means the replay never expires.
- Keep showing the offer on the replay, on or off
How expiry is enforced:
The replay window is measured from the end of that person's session, so it is per session rather than a single global cutoff. When someone opens the replay after the window has closed, they get a page telling them the replay window has closed and suggesting they contact the host, instead of the video.
If replays are switched off entirely, the replay page says so rather than failing.
What plays on the replay:
An AI Deck replays as the same narrated deck, starting from the beginning for that viewer. A Recorded webinar replays its video. A Live webinar replays the recording saved from your broadcast, or any video you set on the Content tab, rather than an empty live stage.
Replay viewing is tracked separately:
The room sends its heartbeats flagged as replay viewing, so replay watchers are counted in their own Analytics tile and never inflate your live show up rate.
Why an expiry window matters:
A replay that stays open forever gives nobody a reason to watch today. Pair a real deadline with the second no show email, which is written specifically to warn that the replay is expiring, and the replay becomes a second sales event rather than an archive.
A practical tip:
If you turn the offer off for the replay, make sure your follow up emails point at something else useful, because the {offer_url} tag still resolves and your reader will click something.
