🔗 Creating And Managing Tracking Links

Tracking links are the core of the plugin. You create them on the ➕ Create tab and manage them on the 🔗 Links tab.

Creating A Link:

Open the ➕ Create tab and fill in the form. The fields are:

  • Link Name. A private label only you see, for example Facebook Campaign 1. It never appears publicly.
  • Slug. The short path on your own domain. Enter my-offer and the tracking URL becomes yoursite.com/my-offer.
  • Destination URL. The real page the visitor lands on.
  • Tracking Parameters. Optional. Extra query string appended to the destination, for example utm_source=tracker&utm_medium=link.
  • Attribution Model. Use the global setting, or override this one link to Last Click or First Click.
  • Folder. Optional. Pick an existing folder, or choose Create new folder and type a name. Folders are for organisation only and never change tracking.

The form also has a 🧭 Navigation-only link checkbox, a collapsible 📡 Public Live Feed Settings panel, and a collapsible ⚙️ Advanced Options panel holding Sub-ID forwarding and the optional Tracking Pixel / Code field that fires when the link is clicked.

Public Feed Fields:

Inside the Public Live Feed Settings panel you can set a Feed Title, a Feed Description, and a Feed Image using the WordPress media picker. There is also a checkbox labelled Do NOT show in Public Feed which keeps the link private no matter what the other fields say. Leave the whole panel closed if the link is not meant to be listed publicly, it still tracks perfectly.

What The Stats Columns Mean:

  • Total Clicks. Every click on the link, repeat visits included.
  • Unique Clicks. Distinct IP addresses that clicked.
  • Leads (A). Conversions recorded with zero revenue.
  • Sales (B). Conversions recorded with revenue above zero.
  • Revenue. Total revenue from all recorded sales on that link.
  • Feed. Whether the link appears in the public feed or is hidden.

Finding Links In A Big List:

The Links tab gives you a search box that matches link name, slug, destination URL and feed title. Click any column header to sort by name, slug, clicks, unique clicks, leads, sales, revenue or date. The 🔍 Filters panel adds minimum clicks, minimum revenue, has or has no leads, has or has no sales, feed status and a date range, with an Apply Filters button and a Reset All link. The ⚙️ Columns control lets you hide columns you do not use, and you can show 25, 50, 100 or 500 links per page.

Per Row Actions:

Each row carries 📊 Stats, 📋 Copy, ✏️ Edit, a preview link that opens the tracking URL in a new tab, and a delete button that asks for confirmation because it removes the link and all of its data.

One Habit Worth Building:

Keep slugs short and memorable, and always send traffic through the tracking link first so the click ID is set before the visitor reaches any funnel page.
