📥 Importing Subscribers From A CSV

The Imports tab takes a CSV from any other platform, such as Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, AWeber, ConvertKit or GetResponse, and brings the people into Results AI Mailer.

How the import works:

  1. Drag your CSV onto the upload area, or click to browse
  2. The plugin reads the headers and guesses which column is which
  3. Check the mapping and correct anything it got wrong
  4. Optionally pick a list to add everyone to, and tags to apply
  5. Click Start import and watch the progress bar

Email is the only column you must map. Everything else, including first name, last name, country and any custom fields, is optional.

Why it does not break on big files:

The CSV is written to disk rather than held in memory or in a database option, so a 200MB file with hundreds of thousands of rows is no problem. The job state is tracked in its own table and updated as it goes.

If PHP times out halfway through, nothing is lost. WordPress cron notices the stalled job and picks it up again from the exact row it reached, usually within a minute. You can close the browser tab and the import carries on in the background.

Automatic pausing:

If the import hits fifty errors in a row, it stops and tells you why rather than grinding through the rest of the file. That almost always means a column is mapped wrongly, so you fix the mapping and resume.

Duplicates:

People who already exist are updated rather than duplicated, and the count of new versus updated records is shown as it runs. Anyone on your suppression list is skipped.

Every finished import is recorded in the history on the Safety tab, where it can also be rolled back.
