The Setup tab is a checklist that reads your actual settings, so it always shows where you really are rather than a generic list of instructions.
It checks:
- Your licence is active
- A sending connection is set up
- Your from name and address are set
- Your postal address is filled in, which the law requires
- You have a list
- You have people on it
- A sign up form exists, which is optional
- The sending queue is scheduled
- Safe Mode is off, so real sends can go out
- You have sent your first broadcast
Each row links straight to the screen that owns it, and the bar at the top shows how many steps are done.
Underneath there is a Worth knowing section covering options many people never find, such as tidying names as they send, reusable snippets, choosing who becomes a subscriber, and how bounces are handled.
Nothing on this screen changes a setting. It only tells you the truth about your setup.
